I recently upgraded my FiOS TV subscription package so that I could get beIN Sport, the new channel carrying tons of international sports which is now available on FiOS on channel 598. Unfortunately, I can't tune into this particular channel (nor the Spanish language version on 1538), but I can tune into all of the other channels that come in that package (Cinemax, Shotime, Epix, etc.). We also get HBO, which was notorious because of the new encryption deployed on those channels, but I have no problem tuning into them. I've spoken with numerous people at tech support and had network technicians trying to solve the problem, but nobody can figure out what's going on. Apparently beIN has the same encryption as HBO so they are preplexed as to why I can tune one but not the other. I've already swapped out the cable card once and they want to send me another new one this week. I am able to get the channel on a FiOS set top box in another room and have tested the TiVo with that coax cable.
