I have a series 3 with 2 Cablecards.
Lately I will have video and sometimes audio on a channel just freeze. If it was recording at the time it never corrects itself. If its live I can switch channels and return to the offending channel and its back to normal.
I suspect the cablecard but I am not sure how to determine which cablecard is tuning the offending channel. The diagnostic stuff is of no use because it seems to reinitialize the channel which, as I have said, clears the problem.
Does the front panel display correlate exactly to the cablecards? That is, does the top display indicate the channel that cable card 2 is tuned to with the bottom display showing the channel for cablecard 1?
If so - I can easily determine the offending cablecard.
